Virginia Capitol & Libby Hill Park Engagment Session – Richmond, Virginia

Even though our session was a bit chilly, we honestly could not have asked for better weather on a Spring day in Virginia. Honestly, spring is one of my favorite seasons, but springtime in Virginia can definitely throw a few curveballs. First, it gets your hopes up with beautiful warm days, then it decides to snow 3 feet overnight. Now, this may be a slight exaggeration, but only slight. I remember it snowed during MY engagement session 6 years ago and not just a little flurry here and there, it actually snowed and accumulated inches on the ground in a matter of hours!

Jessica and Josh are getting married this December at the Hofheimer building in Richmond and I am super excited for their winter wedding! (I guess I better get used to these chilly portrait sessions now 🙂 ).
