Backyard Engagement Session – Blackstone, VA

Let me start off by saying, its funny how small this world really is… When I started my new day job back in July, Amber and I quickly realized that her and Chase live about 20 minutes away from our old house in Kenbridge, VA (small town stuff)! But wait, it gets better! After talking with Amber about her (then boyfriend) Chase, we realized that Chase and my husband had attended a training class together a few years back and Chase had told even told Amber about my wedding photography!

I was sitting at my desk on a Monday morning when I heard the exciting news that Chase had proposed over the weekend at the same restaurant where they had their first date and I couldn’t wait to get all of the details. Engagement stories are definitely one of my favorite parts of a couples’ wedding journey and Amber & Chase’s is no exception! Their engagement session included their cute pup, Bella who we couldn’t help but laugh at when she decided to plop herself down right next to Chase and then proceeded to scoot closer – almost as if she was guaranteeing that she was included in the pictures.
