Boathouse at Sunday Park Wedding

This past Sunday, Ashley and Justin were married in a beautiful and intimate wedding at the Boathouse at Sunday Park in Midlothian surrounded by their closest friends and family.

During my first year in business, I am quickly realizing that these small, intimate weddings hold some of my favorite moments. The true and honest emotions that flow when you are with the people who mean the most to you is just one reason why I love photographing weddings. It is so easy to get wrapped up in the hustle of a wedding day – appointments last longer than expected, sometimes the weather doesn’t want to cooperate, wardrobe malfunctions, but when the bride walks down the aisle to her groom all of these previous moments seem insignificant. They are overcome with emotion as they promise to serve each other and love each other unconditionally, forever.
